Evergreen Beef products are grown and raised on our 3rd generation small, family-owned beef operation (Sigmon Simmentals) located in the hills of Berryville, Arkansas. Committed to delivering the highest quality beef, we prioritize the well-being of our cattle through dedicated care and respect. At Evergreen Beef, we firmly believe that happy cows result in the best beef, and we achieve this by raising them on rotating pastures, providing ample space for them to roam freely. Our team consists of hardworking individuals who are passionate about their work, and we take great pride in upholding a standard of excellence that is unmatched. Our commitment to quality is unwavering, and we promise to only serve the finest cuts of beef to our customers. Evergreen Beef is not just a business; it’s a testament to our dedication to ethical and sustainable practices, ensuring that every bite of our beef reflects the care and respect we have for both our animals and our craft.
Kylee (Sigmon) has been around agriculture her entire life and was raised on the Sigmon Simmentals 300 acre farm nestled in the hills of Berryville, AR. She has been passionate about agriculture from the start and was heavily involved in youth agriculture organizations (from FFA to the American Jr. Simmental Association). She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2019 with a double major in agricultural business and agricultural communications, and completed her MBA in 2021. Kylee thoroughly enjoyed exhibiting cattle growing up and her collegiate involvement in agriculture organizations such as collegiate FFA alumni, the professional ag sorority Sigma Alpha, and the UA Cattlemen’s Association inspired her to pursue a career in agriculture. She currently works as an Innovation Marketing Manager while managing marketing and product assortment for Evergreen Beef Co.
Born and raised just south of Kansas City, Henry moved to NWA to attend the University of Arkansas. He completed his Bachelors in Agricultural Business in 2020 and although not raised on a farm, he has always been passionate about the great outdoors and being involved in how food is grown/raised – from having his own chickens in college to growing a garden in multiple seasons of life. Today he works as merchant full time and is lead over business operations and management of Evergreen Beef Co.
Mike & Lisa reside on the Sigmon Simmentals property – the same farm that Mike was raised on (previously a dairy). Their journey raising Simmentals began when they were gifted a Simmental heifer in 1994 and they have loved the breed for many reasons ever since – from their docility to their calf raising abilities and meat quality, they are truly so versatile. They still manage and maintain a cowherd of roughly 80 cows and offer invaluable wisdom to Henry and Kylee as they’ve begun Evergreen.
